Storm at Sunset - Glen Canyon Utah

Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is the second largest reservoir in North America. It has 1,800 miles of shoreline behind the Glen Canyon Dam that formed part of the Colorado River into Lake Powell. Lake Powell was named for explorer John Wesley Powell, who was the first man to head an expedition down the Colorado River. There are hundreds of colorful sandstone canyons, coves and natural wonders, like Rainbow Bridge, that make up this amazing shoreline.
