Dead Horse Point State Park, near Moab, is perhaps Utah’s most spectacular state park. The 5200 acres of land sits on the edge of the plateau just north of the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. Sitting 6,000 feet above sea level it has the most breathtaking 270 degree views of red orange canyons, ridges, buttes, pinnacles and cliffs. In the far distance of this image you can see the La Sal Mountains, Utah’s second largest mountain range. |
