The Grand Teton National Park is located in northwestern Wyoming just north of Jackson Hole and south of Yellowstone National Park. In 1972 Congress dedicated the John D. Rockefeller Memorial Parkway that that connects the Grand Teton National Park with Yellowstone National Park. Traveling along this parkway about six miles from Colter Bay is the Willow Flats Overlook. From here you have a wonderful view of the extensive wetlands that provides the excellent habitat for birds, beavers, and moose in the park. Views of Jackson Lake and the Teton Range are seen in the background. |
