Big Meadow Lodge, located in the Shenandoah National Park, was built in 1939 by the CCC and mountain laborers. The main lodge was built with stones cut from the Massanutten Mountain. The interior of the lodge is made out of native oak and native chestnut trees. This sunset was photographed from a rocky cliff behind the main lodge. |
