The Hummingbird’s flight is amazing to watch! They are able to fly up, down, forward, backward, sideways and they can stop in midair. The Hummingbird is famous for its aerial displays whether is be courtship or aggressive behavior. When migrating, they can fly great distances. The Ruby-throated Hummingbird fly’s 600 miles across the Gulf of Mexico. Hummingbirds are able to perch at feeders, but because they fly so much, they have poorly developed feet and can barely walk.
