Cades Cove Tennessee is a unique valley which is located in a remote area of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. The Missionary Baptist Church is among the well preserved homesteads in this open air museum that reflects the material culture of those who lived here. The church was formed in 1839 but services were stopped during the Civil War and were reopened following the war “minus the Confederate sympathizers |
